MRS. BESSIE MAE EDWARDS, of Summerville, Georgia died Saturday, March 6, 2010. Born in Walker County Georgia on May 17, 1931 she was a daughter of the late Buel and Mary Etta McWhorter Hollis.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Vickie & Ron Fisher of Summerville, Pam & Charles Carnes of Villanow; son and daughter-in-law Rodney & Ebeth Edwards of Villanow; sister-Jean Huggins of Summerville; two brothers and spouse: Clarence and June Hollis of South Carolina and Max Hollis of Trion; 6 grandchildren and spouses:Cliff and Betsy Fisher, Nikki Fisher, Lee and Jeremy Sentell, Anna Edwards, Samatha Edwards and Ty Edwards; 6 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Sunday at 4:30 P.M. in West Hill Cemetery with Minister Ron Fisher officiating. The Family request no food or flowers and suggest contribution to the Food Pantry at www.aaccwecare.com and in note section put for Bess Edwards or the animal shelter of Humane Society. Visitation will be Sunday forom 2 P.M. Until hour of service.
