Third Class Pettyofficer/E4 Timothy Shane Woody, age 31, of Lyerly, Georgia passed away Sunday evening in a Rome hospital following an extended illness. He was born in Rome, Georgia on October 12, 1978.
Surviving are His wife Jessica Hefner Woody; 3 sons-Aaron Levi Woody, Matthew Dylan Woody, and Hager Ross Woody all of Lyerly; mother-Joyce Woody Spivey of East Ridge, TN.; father-William Charles Hamilton of Summerville; sister-Brittany Elaine Miranda of Nebraska; several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday (November 5th) at 1:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home, interment in West Hill Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Wednesday (November 4th) from 6 until 8 P.M.; at other hours they will be at the residence in Lyerly.
